The Applications Technologist I position will work with essences, extracts and food service products for the beverage and food industries.
The main focus of this position is to fulfill sample requests, with the rest of the time being spent supporting the product development team and maintaining the lab.

Fulfill sample requests by preparing samples, packing boxes, and completing shipping documents in an accurate and timely manner.
Accurately follow formulas and recipes to batch various products.
Stock and maintain library of finished samples, raw materials, packaging materials and supplies for the lab.
Perform analytical tests on samples (Brix, Density, pH, etc.
) Maintain organized and efficient laboratory equipment and environment.
Work well in a team environment, interacting with product developers and research scientists daily.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
BS in Food Science or other applied science.
Up to 1 year of application lab experience.
Ability to work accurately, quickly and with good laboratory practices across multiple projects within the day / week.
Candidate must possess good documentation skills and be adept at working within programs such as Excel, Word & assorted databases.
Knowledge of Product Vision a plus.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
