Human Resource Generalist

Your ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the implementation, and execution of HR solutions aligned to the business and HR strategy.
Working collaboratively with the designated department management team(s), the HR Generalist builds and develops effective relationships with the leaders and employees to influence and execute HR processes and initiatives.
This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas, including, but not limited to, employee relations, employment law compliance, training, performance management, onboarding, off-boarding, policy implementation, and organizational change.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
o Advises managers and employees on HR-related policies, programs and procedures.
o Develops strategies to increase workforce readiness, retention, and engagement.
o Investigates and resolves employee relations issues.
o Drives or supports initiatives to help foster a positive company culture, focusing on employee experience and engagement.
o Gathers and analyzes feedback from departments and partners with HR Management in developing and implementing solutions.
o Collaborates with department leaders to execute HR processes and associated activities.
o Identifies and recommends training as needed for employee development within designated departments.
Works with Learning & Development Department to source appropriate training.
o Using an applicant tracking system, reviews internal and external job applications for hourly openings in assigned departments initiating contact with potential candidates and interviewing applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements.
Provides information about the organization and position.
Extends offers to internal and external candidates determining rate of pay following compensation administration guidelines.
o Assists and guides designated departments through the performance management and merit increase processes.
o Demonstrates a commitment to customer service by ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries and requests from employees.
o Conducts exit interviews, disciplinary meetings, and terminations as needed.
o Presents assigned portions of new hire orientation (PASS Class) and acts as backup for other HR members and their assigned portions as needed.
o Performs other duties as required and assigned.
Your Profileo Bachelor's degree or demonstrated combination of education, training and experience.
o Proven experience establishing strong partnerships with functional and business leaders to develop and execute on long and short-term HR strategies that directly support the business.
o Extensive knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
o Knowledge of federal and state compliance requirements.
o Excellent verbal and written communication, strong customer service, organizational, prioritization, and analytical skills.
o Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
o Strong presentation skills.
Must be willing to make presentations on HR related topics to large groups both internally and externally.
o Familiarity with benefits, performance management, and compliance.
o Demonstrated capability in managing employee relations, as well as promoting and maintaining positive employee relations.
o Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
o Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and organize and prioritize work.
o Innovative, future-oriented and open to new thoughts and ideas.
o Willing to challenge the status quo and be a strong influencer.
o Proven ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
o Thorough knowledge of HR processes, procedures, and policies.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
